Redefining Rich People vs. Poor People

In many of my posts within Keonna’s Diary, you will notice me refer to “Rich People” and “Poor People” many times. Please understand that while society typically describes “Rich People” as people with access to a lot of money and resources, people who are health fanatics, and people who only surround themselves with “elite people”, I have decided to avoid using that definition any longer. The same goes with society’s definition of “Poor People” which is typically people who live in run down neighborhoods, have little access to money, and a lack of traditional education etc. I have found that those definitions are far from the truth. I have also found that those definitions are meant to OPPRESS people. My definitions will EMPOWER people.

You see, according to the above definition of “poor”, I grew up poor. The truth is, I NEVER felt poor. I always felt like we had more than enough and I always felt that we were taken care of. I didn’t realize I was “poor” until the definition above was told to me. This is a form of OPPRESSION and this is one reason why I chose to let go of that perspective. In my last article, MIND Your Way To Success, I talked about how we can take our POWER back by creating our own perspectives for our lives instead of accepting what other people give us by default. If someone can convince you that you were poor since the day you were born, you will begin to identify with a poor person for that rest of your life and that alone will make life hard for you. That alone will always keep you oppressed. I suggest you read that article to learn how to free yourself from that.

Nevertheless, in this post I am here simply to redefine what a RICH person is and what a POOR person is. Let’s get into it!

RICH PEOPLE:

*Rich People do not allow money to control them. They do not wake up each day and determine their actions based on making money. They wake up and follow their PASSIONS and PURPOSE because that is what brings them the most FULFILLMENT.

*Rich People live for Joy, Passion, and Excitement. They enjoy living in the moment because they like to appreciate the small things in life and they look for the beauty in their surroundings regardless of whether it is “luxurious” or not. These people can be comfortable anywhere because they are beauty focused. They know that everything and everyone can have beautiful aspects, so they don’t need to keep themselves secluded from the world or secluded from people who don’t live like them to enjoy life.

* Rich People are CREATORS and they would rather use their GIFTS and talents to CREATE products and services for people to enjoy in exchange for money than to LIE, SCHEME, MANIPULATE, or participate in modern day slavery to make money. These people are TRULY financially FREE because their finances are not dependent on other people creating for them. They have learned how to BE the CREATOR and monetize their CREATIONS.

*Rich People are careful about what they allow into their subconscious mind. They know how to choose their atmospheres wisely and how to change a negative atmosphere into a positive one so that they can coexist around many different types of people. They know how to inspire POOR people to become RICH because they actually CARE about ALL people.

*Rich people are surrounded by love and not superficial relationships. Rich people value LOVE and they don’t force themselves to deal with people just because it’s a good business arrangement.

*Rich people value collecting information, thinking, and analyzing for themselves. They don’t rely on traditional education, statistics, or scientific information to give them insight on the future. They know that they have the power to create a new future by creating new ideas and believing in them. They don’t try to justify their new ideas to everyone, they trust their subconscious mind because they KNOW what they’ve been feeding it.

*Rich People have TIME FREEDOM because they are in control of their lives due to their ability to CREATE their own products and services. They don’t need to be restricted to other people’s demands on their time because they have realized that their POWER lies in being the CREATOR who has learned how to monetize their creations and run their business on their own. They take responsibility for learning new information and using that to make their business successful. They are comfortable with trial and error because they know that TRYING and FAILING is a great teacher.

*Rich people are not looking for an early retirement. They don’t look forward to a day in which they will kick their feet up and just do absolutely nothing but spend money, live lavish, and indulge in personal pleasures. They have discovered their passions through trial and error and they love the work they do so much that it doesn’t feel like work so they will want to do it forever. They know that the idea of retirement is for people who don’t love what they do. If you love what you do, why would you want to stop just because you are aging? That idea was created to move old people out of the traditional workforce and make room for young workers. Rich people don’t work in the traditional workforce because they are CREATORS who have monetized their creations.

*Rich people believe that LOVE is the root of comfort and joy.

Poor People

*Poor people LIVE for making money. Their day to day lives are controlled by making money.

*Poor people are sad, angry, and disgruntled without money. The value of their lives is directly connected to how much money they have.

*Poor people shrink themselves out of fear of losing money.

*Poor people will sell their soul for the opportunity to make more money.

*Poor people obsess about making money so much that they cannot enjoy life. They live for their next dollar bill.

*Poor people may “appear to be rich” but because their life revolves around how much money they do or do not have, they are VERY POOR.

*Poor people neglect caring for their loved ones because they are a slave to money. Money is first to these people and they think that giving their child a better life means giving them more money and material things.

*Poor people force themselves to deal with superficial relationships that were only created for them to benefit financially and/or in status.

*Poor people live by other peoples money perspectives instead of creating their own.

*Poor people only rely on traditional education learned from textbooks, statistics, and scientific information. They cannot think new ideas, they only know how reiterate old ones created by other people.

*Poor people are NOT creators. They are too obsessed with making money, keeping up their image, and making sure they don’t lose money that they lack true creativity and they are forced to rely on others to create for them.

*Poor people can often be COPY CATS, THIEVES, LIARS, JEALOUS, and MANIPULATORS because their inability to CREATE anything of value makes them a SLAVE to other people and it leaves them to resort to those low level ways of thinking to get by in life and feel good about themselves. People like this are in ALL tax brackets but the PROs have ALOT of money. These people can live in mansions, drive fancy cars, dress very stylish, and achieve high status in this society because most people are easily influenced by people with money due to society defining “RICH” as having a lot of money and luxury but that’s far from the truth. These people are POOR no matter how fancy they look.

*Poor people look forward to the day in which they don’t have to work at all. They dream of a day in which they will have so much money that they can just kick back and live a lavish life and indulge in personal pleasures daily. They have no passion other than making money so this is the main thing they can strive for. They don’t care about helping humanity moving forward, only about making money. Their charitable efforts are nothing more than a tax write off.

*Poor people believe that MONEY is the root of comfort and joy.

As you can see, my definitions of POOR and RICH are BEYOND the traditional ways of thinking. It is so important for this to be redefined as we move into a new and better future. I hope that you feel EMPOWERED by this information and use it to create a RICH life for yourself and your loved ones.
